I think we might have been heard. Rory Reid confirms him and Chris will be on the main show from now on. British tabloids also state that their segments will be given more prominence with Evans just running the Studio bits. This might be how they slowly phase him out for next season.

They were always going to be on the main show after the first two episodes. This was confirmed months ago by Rory on a CarThrottle Q&A. The first two episodes contained segment filmed before the other 4 hosts were announced.
As for Evans he won’t be phased out, he literally runs the damn show. Maybe after his contract is up in 3 years time the beeb won’t renew it but who knows what happens at that point.

Yep, maybe by then they will have developed some kind of rapport with each other and they’ll be able to use their mutual hatred to have fun together, like C, H & M.
